Karin was in full slayer uniform, her dress swayed in the cold breeze as she walked, in a way she felt much more comfortable than before at the high school, here she was in her element, her she knew just what to do when to do it and how it should be done. She strolled past a crowd which was coming out of a bar lousy drunks she thought disliking the sight of the smelly wobbly men, a decidedly less drunk man walked far behind them, clearly not a member of the group. This man walked beside her "isn't it a bit dark for shades miss?" he asked casualty, she was in no mood to deal with philanderers "I can see just fine thank you" she said strolling a bit faster "ah come on, dont be like that" he said moving after her, she sighed "what do you want anyway?" he was very close now, uncomfortably close "just want to have a look at those pretty eyes of yours baby..." he reached for her glasses when she grabbed his wrist, surprisingly smoke rose from the skin as he let out a wail "what the he-" Karin understood now "I see... so your no ordinary would be rapist skumbag, your a nosferatu!" now THAT was something she could deal with, but he was pretty strong looking, so she had a better idea "what did you do to my HAND?!?" she removed her shades for just a second and alowed herself to be entranced "well... no matter, your tasty blood is enugh for my trouble" he went to bite her when her holy blood reached his fangs and entered his body the results were devastating, a very loud wail came as his fangs shattered and he doubled over in pain "you bitch!"she put her shades back on while she healed her bite wounds with her free hand "silly creature"he leaped high in to the air to attack but Karin was faster, he wooden end of the cross spear pinned him to a wall and his body burned away from being staked, her phone rang "Miss Sanctum!" a voice rang out "there have been vampires spotted in the aria we-" "yes sir, one already tried to ambush me" ".... oh, well just stay alert Karin, and do not underestimate the resourcefulness of this scum" The streetlights shone off her shades as she retreaved her staff "it wont be a problem for me" "christ be with you" "amen" she said out of habbit as she hung up

Claudia was in her work uniform, this being a blue collar T-shirt, over this she had a leather jacket and some black jeans. Finally off from work, she walked out of the grocer's and into the snowy night. Claudia growled at the cold, then again what does she not hate? She had the strange feeling in her gut, it wasn't pleasant, but in was endurable. Claudia looked up and down the streets as she walked, remembering what happened to her sister.

Karin was strolling down the street coming towards Claudia, carrying the cross staff and otherwise clearly a vampire slayer to anyone who had seen them before

The appearance of this woman hit Claudia like a ton of bricks. Her breathing slowed, every visible breath telling her not to kill for fear of being killed. That is the mind of a smart predator. Claudia decided to keep walking, not visibly changing her pace to shake off suspicion.

Cladia moved past a girl, it honestly wasnt safe for civilions to be out with Vampires about, how best to keep her safe, she turned sudenly and was walking the same way with her behind her but not out of veiw

This person kept following, giving Claudia chills beyond any cold, the chill of inevitable oblivion. They walked for a time at the same pace, until Claudia was psyched and did something rash. She turned around and yelled "Stop following me!" she yelled this as angry as she was nervous.

Karin turned to her "Im sorry but, this may sound hard to believe, there are vampires around here and your not safe, Ive already been attacked tonight, Im certified against them if you can believe that, please let me escort you home safety"

Claudia's eyes filled with fear at this. Her suspicions were true. Claudia's breathing was heavy, she stepped backwards slowly, knowing at any moment she could be attacked. "N-no! Not at all!"

Karin was a bit suprized at this "no really their real! Turst me on this one, you dont need to be scared when your with me, Ive delt with them before" she said trying to calm the poor girl down

Then Claudia made a huge mistake. "You're not helping me! I just want to get home and get some damned dinner! You're only creeping me out! I know they're real, but I am not scared of them--I'm scared of you!" she caught herself. That is probably the biggest mess up of her entire life.

she blinked underneath her shades "me?... why would you be scared of me?" she put to and two togeather "......oh" she had never pictured vampires as being vulnerable or having fear, why would they? they were more powerful than humans were but this girl, this girl made her feel... almost sorry for her, this was all very confusing

Claudia gripped the bracelet on her wrist then backed slowly away. "Just leave me alone!" she said, still fearing for her life. Who the hell is this? Why is there a vampire slayer right when I get out of work?

Karin Reached for her staff with both hands "and let you go on feeding on innocent humans? I'm afriad I cant do that" Kairen had had a fanatical teaching against vampires and fighting them was all she really understood

Claudia grew upset at this. She didn't eat humans, not even kill them, she just hated them. Her grip tightened on her bracelet, until she decided she had no choice. This seemed like a cliche 'vampires are evil' vampire slayer. They get frightened easily as claudia was told. Her braclet became a gorgeaus silver scythe in her hands. With the tip of the blade she cut her finger slightly. Then she ran it across the blade so the blood seemed to stain the purity of the silver. Then she licked it off, and with a sadistic look she said "Do you fear the reaper?"

Karin undid the staff to produce sword and staff wielding them in each hand "if I feared death I wouldnt have held on to my humanity, Im not the same as you vampires, so dont look down on us humans you damned monsters!" heheld her weapons ready "do I fear the reaper,I suppose thats the kind of talk youruse to saying" she swipred at the point where the blade met with the hanle of her weapon thrustingthe cross staff forth with her free hand
